Scott "The Wine Making Guy" in The Maritimes

I thought I’d take a moment to give you a bit of background on myself so that you have a better idea whose on the other side of this blog.

Here are a few interesting facts about me:

• Born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
• Currently live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
• Married to Michelle (aka “The Boss”)
• No kids as of yet – but we’re currently looking at adopting a newborn within our own province (interesting experience this has been so far)
• Have a dog named Jasper (aka “The Beast”)
• Have a cat named George (aka “Mini Beast”)
• I’m self-employed and mainly help small businesses build their online presence. My main client is Owen Garratt (aka “The Pencilneck), who is a super talented colour-blind pencil artist. If you’re into art he’s worth checking out!
• I love to travel, ski, golf and hang out on the patio with my friends.
• I’ve been making homemade wine for the last 7 or 8 years (and absolutely love it!)
• Types of wine I like to make include: red wine (Shiraz, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Amarone), white wine (Riesling, Gerwurtraminer, Piesporter), port and fruit wines (raspberry, cherry, blueberry, rhubarb).
• I’m also not adverse to drinking commercial wine either!
• Oh … and I’m a big fan of fine Tequila (yes they exist) and Scotch too …

Anyhoo, enough about me!
